General Requirements for Immigration

You must not have a medical condition that imposes an excessive demand on Canadian health or social services, or would pose a danger to public health and safety in Canada.

You must not engaged in criminal activities prohibited by the Immigration Act.

You must not threaten the security risk of Canada, or must not have associations with any organization that poses a threat to the security of Canada or the safety of its people.

You must provide all the documents required by the Visa Officer within the time specified in order to establish your admissibility.

You must satisfy the Visa Officer that you meet the definition of Independent/Business in the immigration category in which you apply.

You must pay the full processing fee.

You must have or are able to obtain valid passports or recognized travel documents.
